Written by the 6th Gyalwa Karmapa Thongwa Dönden [1416-1453]

Commentary: This is the formal sadhana used for the Inner retreat on Vajrayogini in the Karma Kamtshang tradition. It is the sadhana to be accomplished during the yidam retreat based on Kyed-Rim and Dzog-Rim stages of practices in strict seclusion. Include in the sadhana are the rituals for hand blessings, mala blessing, ganachakra and self-initiation. A most sacred Dharma that is not easily available and require a samaya relationship with one’s guru and|or retreat master.
