Comment: Offering the eight Auspicious Symbols to a Buddha, Guru, Deity in general is a practice that creates the auspicious connection for the devotee to receive the blessings to achieve the spiritual qualities that are auspicious to get in order to realise progress on the Path leading to Enlightenment.

the eight auspicious signs are the foremost of the 112 buddha marks and they resemble parts of the buddha’s body, and therefore come to serve as emblems of the Buddhadharma.
